Contagious Blog

Yesterday, I spent some time setting up a page counter, mostly for vanity. I figured it would be important to know when this blog becomes popular. Then I found the article "Warning: Blogs Can Be Infectious", which provides a very insightful conclusion: "most-read webloggers aren't necessarily the ones with the most original ideas". This after some research conducted by Hewlett-Packard Labs.

So, in the spirit of nurturing ideas, I'm hoping my Page Counter never goes wild. Instead I'll start working on some other mechanism to track the evolution of some of the ideas posted here, hoping that they will eventually appear somewhere else.
